You can invest in HDFC Prudence. It is the oldest mutual funds, and has been a consistent artist. What's statements, as the Almighty, no one can predict performance. If you see past the fund for the benefit of 20-30%, but do not expect the same.

Dear Bhushan
One year term is too short to keep a balanced funding
As the name implies, that atleast 50% of the equity investment. [In terms of units available to Mans.]

More than most balanced funds have a higher degree of equity.
The performance of most mutual funds in terms of exposure, HDFC Prudence has 75% of the shares as at the time.

So, if the weather is bad you can lose your capital
For example, the worst time was 26/09/2008 - 27/10/2008, when the regime gave a return of -25.79%

If desired, to increase their three-year term in this case, I suggest you do a SIP for a year and regularly review their investments.

If you choose a safe investment for debt funds on one-year presidency.
